  1. Hello, your article beautifully takes us through the journey of the Internet, from its military beginnings to the global network it is today with over 5.3 billion users in 2024. It touches on the crucial aspect of privacy and security, making it relatable by comparing it to our physical world’s security measures. I like the fact that you highlighted the importance of having a digital identity and emphasized the need to manage it carefully to protect against potential threats. The discussion on personal branding, SEO strategies, and effective communication through emails is presented in a practical way for those who want to start online businesses.

Thank you for an interesting read.

  2. Hi Linden,
I just read through your post “Create Your Digital ID For The Future” on First-Hand Life. You’ve covered the essentials – from the importance of a digital ID to personal branding and securing your online presence. However, the discussion seems to orbit around a more tech-savvy audience. For those less familiar with the digital world, like seniors or digital newcomers, how can they approach creating a digital ID without feeling overwhelmed by the technicalities? Do you have tips for making this process more accessible and less harsh for them?
Thank you for your work and sharing this helpful guide!

    Warm regards,

    • Dear Makhsud,

That is a good observation! Digital = technical in the minds of people with no/little screen exposure, in my experience. It’s their greatest hurdle, so I cover other aspects of creating a Digital ID in several other posts. I have quite a lot of experience with those without experience and found that their minds can’t grasp the concepts, e.g. the cloud, hard drive, saving files, etc. So, I am designing an online course to help such people grasp abstract concepts.

I wrote this post and others on this website to help the overwhelm before they join Wealthy Affiliate – the perfect platform to take care of them. It’s exciting to be the first to help bring people face-to-face with the astounding Internet! In their second-hand life, they were perhaps merely observers of others with technical skills but considered them nothing to do with their own lives because they were sacrificed for others.

I think this is one of my missions. I’m bringing my many years as a mindful educator to bear on this issue. I believe every human should have basic IT skills because this is the future for us all. We must be inclusive.

Blessings, and thanks for reminding me to finish my online course introducing virgins to IT. SO much educating to do!!

      in loving kindness
